bathroom. Basketweavers Cottage is the ideal holiday hideaway cottage at
any time of the year.
Portpatrick overlooks the North Channel to Ireland. The area enjoys a
temperate climate due to the Gulf
Stream. Basketweavers Cottage nestles in Dinvin Street near to the centre
of Portpatrick and the
harbour. The cottage is one of a small row of similar cottages dating from
the 1860s.
Basketweavers Cottage offers excellent family accommodation with enclosed
rear garden
and views to the
front over Dinvin Burn to gardens and the ancient ruined Kirk.
Portpatrick
harbour is 200 metres from the front
door.
For golfers, the well known
Portpatrick Golf Club with its 18 hole Dunskey
and 9 hole Dinvin courses is
within walking distance. 3 other courses are within a short drive.
Shops, pubs and
restaurants are all within walking distance on the harbour
front or in the main street.
Basketweavers Cottage comprises: Lounge, kitchen/dining room, bathroom
with bath and shower over,
toilet and hand basin, 3 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 with adult bunks, and 1
twin bedroom.
Electric central heating, open stove in lounge (all fuel and power
included in the rent), travel cot and high
chair, bed linen, hand towels, tea towels and hair dryer are all provided.
Colour TV with Freeview, DVD
player, stereo radio/tape/CD player, full oven and hob, microwave, washer,
tumble dryer, dishwasher,
fridge/freezer, garden furniture and BBQ (gas included). Unrestricted
on-street parking at the front of the
cottage. Up to 2 well-behaved pets are welcome.
